Cozy atmosphere with delicious Vietnamese food! I came here for the first time with my family for lunch and we all enjoyed our dishes. My most favorite were grilled pork with rice, the cream cheese wonton, and their homemade soy milk. Their staffs are nice and responsive to guests’ requests. The way seats and tables here are organized makes his place look great for both friend group and dating. I’m gonna coming back here for sure.

The wait staff is horrendous and the food is okay. A far cry from even a few years ago.

They have the best Pho soup

Pretty average pho. The broth was fairly bland, the noodles were oddly textured and it wasn't served very hot. Their beef quality was good though, good rare steak and flavorful brisket. Higher quality than your average place. Overall didn't love it.

Pretty good spring rolls and pho. The small pho is the same size as the large pho at the usual place I go. 10.00 bucks a piece though, but it was yummy

I really love this place!! I recommend getting their squid calamari with garlic because it is soo good!!

Best Pho in the east bay. I just discovered this gem a few months back. Now whenever I am in the neighborhood it’s a must stop. The beef is so tender and the noodles are made fresh daily - you can taste it. Couldn’t recommend any higher. Please give it a try.

This pho place delivered a well made beefstew with the best soup base i have ever tasted in the east bay. The noodle itself can be made little better in term of texture. Overall, a great experience here.

We have driven past the restaurant for years. Birthday boy had stopped by for lunch, liked it and announced to the family that he wanted to celebrate his birthday dinner at Nguyen Vu. No wine or beer, but appetizers were as good as reviews stated, especially wok-stir fried calamari. Cream cheese filled won tons were also a hit at the party. I enjoyed my curried chicken dish and wife enjoyed her pad tai. Service a little on slow side, but the management said nothing to our bringing in birthday cupcakes and decorations. All in party said they will return.

Ate today with friends. Food is fresh and good.but service is not good. We were only among 4 of the occupied tables on a Sunday evening and yet had to call them for every single thing like plates, water etc. Three stars for service only.

Always had a great experience here. I used to come here a lot, but stopped because I moved farther away. Just visited again today and the store interior have been remodeled. Same great service!

Went here due to the high rating and was not disappointed. Had the filet mignon pho and combination fried rice and both were very good. Would not hesitate to come back.

Excellent Pho Seaford Soup with out Squid and extra chicken. I will go back, it's a nice restaurant inside and Service was great

Vietnamese cuisine!!! Never when anywhere else. I have been always eating there even two hours driving distance. Great tastiest food and very affordable price and good portion.

I like nodels

Had a spicy noodle soup thinking it's one of phos. I'm not vietnamese so it was not expexted when I saw thicker noodle not like pho noodle. So asked whether it is correct and the server offered me a new bowl with pho noodle. Ask before order if you want pho noodle with spicy broth. The taste was good. The thai ice was good. But the coffee is not good.

The egg roll was both crispy and melt-in-your-mouth good. The star of the show for sure.The rau ma (pennywort drink) was memorable and totally worth it. It was sweet, but not too sweet, and minty tasting.The noodles were fresh and well-made.. one of those subtle things where you know this is real food made by a chef that cares. The pork was merely passable - okay flavor but a little tough.Overall a solid meal and a total hidden gem. If you live in the area, you owe it to yourself to stop by.

This place has all of the typical Asian-American cuisine one wants. That would be a sort of red flag that they don't do anything very well, but Nguyen honestly has some of the best food in the area

They never change their towel. The towel used to wipe the table stinks. The mildew smell on the table is unbearable...

Today, I went to Nguyen Vu Restaurant with a friend, surprised there was a new dish with red cabbage, chicken and basil. Tastefully flavored, soft chicken, fatty peanuts, crunchy cabbage and more. I could not wait to be more hungry...I love it. Maybe I'll come back soon

This place is such a gem. They had so many healthy options and great for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. The pho was definitely authentic and other dishes we had were also delicious. Recently they have free soda for lunch, which is a plus! The setting was very beautiful and cozy, having an Asian feel. We highly recommend this place!!!!!

How difficult is it to get the correct order. Soft chow mein is not pan fried chow mein. 2 orders of 6 pc spring rolls is not 1 order of spring rolls. Grilled shrimp rice plate is not shrimp fried rice. Then I call and a man called An argued I was wrong and the correct order was sent, he would even talk over me. I sent him a picture of what was delivered and he said he believes he sent the correct order. Whaaaat?? NEVER ordering from this place again. No customer service what so ever.
